Master was out of town last week. While he was, my Uncle went to hospice. So I started to resolve myself that I wouldn't see him again. And I didn't. The day after Master came home - my Uncle died. He was surrounded by almost my whole family. I am grateful that he was with family. I miss him so much.
So quiet - here and everywhere else.
So sorry for your loss. I'm glad you are not alone.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for your loss. May your uncle rest in peace, and may you and all who loved him find comfort in memory.
ReplyDeleteLosing someone you love is impossible to describe because you know intellectually that death has to come to us all at some point: some just get taken sooner, or before they've had a good long life. Emotionally it is really hard to cope with the vacuum the loved one has left. It takes a long time to close over and the skin is thin for a very long time. Well, we are strong, and we were designed to be reilient, so let's dig into that particular reservoir and hope that it will have enough in it to sustain us. Lots of love and warm wishes, nakuru.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. I hope that those things that bring comfort at a time like this are yours now and for the days to come.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss! It's good your uncle was surrounded by family and that your Master was able to be back and provide you support. Peace and fond memories be with you and yours!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. It sounds as if your uncle went softly and peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. I am glad that you are not alone in your grief. Peace to you...
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for you words, thoughts and prayers. I appreciate all your comments and emails.
ReplyDeleteMy sympathies with you, dear Danae. I lost my mum 2 years ago, and I understand your loss. Hang in there, one foot in front of the other. Take your time to grieve, embrace your tears, it is okay to mourn the loss of your family and your friend.
