Images and Hotlinking

Okay if anyone is having problems seeing images....on our website or blogs will you please let me know? Or where ever you view them please let me know.

Our webhost now has hotlink protection and we get LOTS of hotlinkers because I make icons. Really it gets ridiculous how many hotlink from myspace and xanga we get snagging our bandwidth. I turned on hotlink protection this week and found out that like if you are viewing something on your friend's page on livejournal - you most likely won't see the images I host through our website - like icons. So it is pain but on the other hand I also think it is worth it for those that do hotlink. I don't get why people can't save to their own webservers. I save all sorts of images I have found on our own servers and never hotlink. Plus there are many free picture hosting places out there now too so it is not that hard to find a place to host pictures. Drop me a line if you are needing a place.

But if you do have problems...would you let me know...I would like to see if there is ways I can get around it so let me know where you are having a problem seeing an image? Thank you!

the Unexpected Box

Okay I finally got around to getting a new layout made tonight. So the holiday one is down. If anyone is interested in my icons/avatars, wallpaper and such I started a new community on Livejournal - The Unexpected Box. The negative though you need a livejournal id but if you have one and care to see what I do please feel free to join.

For some reason I am still struggling with something that happened last week. I know it will take time but I am still having a lot more problems then I think I should be.

Not sure what else I should write about tonight. Just been really busy...so just a few...Questions and Answers from Hellbent Queer:

Punishment- What have you found is most effective? What are common infractions that warrant punishment in your dynamic?

Master does not really believe in using punishment in our relationship because of how the structure is set - if I were to blatantly disobey it would mean there is something seriously wrong in the structure of the relationship. He would be looking at to see what want wrong and if it is worth it to repair. So when I say it might not be worth it - I don't mean if I said something with a little attitude or was hesitant on something that he would end. It does not mean that at all. If I were to do something minor - such as some attitude then I would most likely get a look or a comment.

For Master punishment means I have blatantly disobeyed and he can't see that happening so no need for punishment.

(I wrote an essay that is on our website about Discipline and Punishment a long while ago that is just something more if anyone cares to read it.)

Is a masochist who only enjoys some types of pain, but not others still a "true" masochist? Same question for sadist, are they still "true" sadists if they don't enjoy giving all types of pain?

True is one of those words that to me is hard to take...because who really is a true anything.

For me craving pain to suffer and feel the pain is different then getting enjoyment from pain. As they seem so different in my mindset that it seems like they should be different states but really looking at the definition of masochism they could be the same thing. And then to throw more complexities into I enjoy both at times but still I don't get any enjoyment from stubbing my toe, getting teeth pulled or being poked and prodded at the doctors office and yet know people who do get enjoyment from those types of pain too.

Waiting out the Busy

I haven't posted in a while. I just have been so busy with life. It seems like when I start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel something else comes up. It has been a very busy time for Master and I with starting his business so it never seems like there isn't something to do. And because of it I am feeling about near my wits end. Add in Master and I just haven't had the good quality time I desire and so it has been a trying time. I am thankful though to be here serving Master even in these difficult times. And know it will get better soon.

Last night we went to dinner with a friend. She is someone I used to be kind of scared of but now can't understand why! She is a part of a charity project and wanted our help in getting a website and video together for it. I think one day Master might be doing a documentary with her on it. I have tons of ideas for the website and so will start getting things together for it. Does anyone know of a program that will take a digital picture and make it look like a Polaroid? Because this project will have lots of pictures to appeal to the heart strings of people looking at it.

Master hasn't told many of our friend's yet about him quitting his current job this summer. Because a lot of our friends are also in the same or similar line of work so he can't let it out too much or it will get back to the main office before he gives notice and that would not be cool at all. But he did tell our friend last night. And she was THRILLED! She was so excited for him. We mentioned also that we are a little nervous about it although excited. And she told us she would not let us starve. She would be giving Master business. So that was good to hear also.

This weekend I have been doing art stuff. And it feels so good to be back at it. I have missed it. There was also an instant today I was looking for a picture I had printed off and couldn't find it and then realized I had it saved on my computer and could bring up. And look at it while doing the piece. So that was a good thing about having my computer where I do art now.

Tomorrow I want to steam clean the living room and iron on top of my other daily stuff. I do hope it won't take too long though as I hope to spend the afternoon with art stuff.

Not much else to report. I owe several people some emails and I hope to get those this week also.
