Versatile Bloggers

I was nominated by several blogs for the Versatile Blogger award. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all who nominated me and who read.

Part of the the award was to name 7 things about yourself and then nominate others. I am not nominate others because 1) it is hard to do without feeling I am leaving out someone fabulous 2) I think most people in the blogsphere have been nominated so I would just be naming them again :)

So just doing the 7 things about myself...
1. I am Harry Potter fan - no I should say I am addicted to Harry Potter. No that might not seem like a big deal but I just became a Harry Potter fan within the last 6 month.  Master has for the last 8 years been trying to get me to just watch the first movie and I said I didn't think I was interested. This was something yes he could have made me and at one point started too but other things interrupted it.  So I saw the interview Oprah did of JK Rowlings and then I decided I might want to read the books.  So when Deathly Hallows was coming out on DVD I said to Master that we should start watching them. I instantly loved them. I have read all the books and now watched all the movies so many times I can almost tell you the lines word for word.  I can't go a week without watching a movie or reading a book or I goon withdrawal. I addicted to Harry Potter.

2. I used to drink Diet Coke and now I am a Coke Zero fan

3. I am going to probably be with a woman again soon and I haven't been in 10 years and it scares the heck out of me as well as excites me to no end!

4. I feel like my body is betraying me in ways. I still feel as sexual as I always have thank goodness but  I am having a lot of pre-menopause symptoms that are causing some things to happen that aren't that fun. As much as I don't like my period and the migraines that come with them - I am not sure these peri-menopause symptoms are doing anything good for my emotional and mental health as well as physical.

5. I met some very wonderful people in 2011 - katie and her Master and then a couple that we jokingly say stalked Master and I and now live not to far and are good friends. I am so thankful for meeting both of couples. They are amazing and such good friends. I wish katie and her Master lived closer as I know Master and I would enjoy getting together with them more often.  We thought we might get together with them one more time before the year was up but that didn't happen.

6. I used Feria haircolor for the first time. I love it.  It covered better and lasted longer then any other dye I have done.

7. I am Joss Whedon fan but just recently watched The Dollhouse. I liked it.  As with all his series except Buffy, it didn't go on long enough.

Sex and the City & Spanking

So I have been obsessed with the Sex and the City movie. I was relaying a little section of the movie to Master...

Big and Carrie are looking at a Penthouse and the realtor calls Carrie Big's wife. And she tells the realtor that Big is her boyfriend. And Big says, "Aren't I little old to be your boyfriend." And she told him that she would start calling him her man-friend. He then said that sounds like a dog to which she replied if the shoe fits. In response he spanks her on the ass.

I said to Master can I call you my Man-friend. He said only if you want to be spanked. I said "okay Man-friend"

I am getting spanked later. I got one spank already but more are coming for my dazzling wit.

It is the wit right? Or maybe it is me being a smart-ass? hmm I wonder. :)

Happy Easter!

It is that time of year to pimp a our BDSM Egg-stravaganza. A few years ago Master and I spent an evening making Easter eggs but with a BDSM theme. It was a lot of fun and I would love to do it again sometime.

We are leaving in a little bit to go out of town over night. We are doing it on the cheap - had free hotel night and made sandwiches and snacks to bring with us (just remembered forgot to pack the brownies so need to do that after I sign off here). We will have a beautiful drive. Oh and we also packed quite a lot of toys! Yay!

Grown Women Playing with Dolls

So I was looking through stats and found that a German blog was linking to my Daddy's Princess post. Basically the post was saying they don't understand grown women playing with dolls and coloring. That kind of made me sad.

Because although I feel like I just naturally have this little girl in me that wants to play. I just think grown women who don't have a little would still have fun playing.

Master's Mom is not a "little girl" she is a old woman with grandkids, but she likes to color. My Mom when she was here for my birthday went to the playground to swing with me. A friend of mine likes to jump rope and skip but she is an adult woman and not even aware of this type of lifestyle. It is fun to let loose and just play. Grab some markers, construction paper and stickers and create. To go back to those innocent days of make believe - by playing with paper dolls or barbies. To make forts in the living room with blankets and hang stars inside it. To make truck paths on the living room floor for little matchbox cars. To paint a picture of a sunny day and bright colored flowers. To get lost in a wonderful children's storybook.

I enjoy paper dolls, coloring books and crayons, construction paper, glitter, markers, stickers, blowing bubbles, groovy girls, stuffed animals, swinging, watching Disney movies, reading children's story books and I hope that I always allow myself to play and have fun! Sometimes we need to reclaim those innocent moments - even for just a second - to feel how we felt when we were young. That's why I feel sad for that person's blog because I believe it means that innocence is lost.

A good list...16 things it takes most of us 50 years to learn

Today was the migraine from hell day of the month. Master took good care of me....getting me ice packs, crackers, dinner and such. It is much better now. But I really needed today...to get some things done and of course that didn't happen so I hope I have time tomorrow and that the migraine is gone!

I hope to get to some book reviews done soon. I probably will not do all of them but will do the Laura Antoniou books for sure....The Academy, The Reunion. Other books read...Suicide Blonde, a book on creativity that I can't remember the title at the moment, Kink (that doesn't have anything to do with kink and new that when I picked it up), Urgent 2nd Class, and Alphabetica.

We are going out of town on Thursday and will be back Friday or Saturday. Master and I are spending one night on the sly without family knowing. We are sneaking into town early....spending a night at the hotel and then going to some fetish stores too.

Inside Out

Just randomness....

* Eating Garden Salsa Sunchips right now and they are so good!

* I don't clean out my inbox on my email box and thus emails that I wanted to respond to kind of get lost in the abyss. So yesterday I had a migraine and needed something that I really didn't need lots of brain power to work on...so started that. I got through a big chunk so that is good.

* Master just went out of town for the day -- I was really wanting to go with him but with the migraines (because of end of period) he did not feel that was wise.

* Finished The Crimson Petal and the White. I am a little disappointed how it ended! Okay more then a little disappointed.

* Need to search down a recipe for the little
Southwestern Spring Rolls they serve at Ruby Tuesday (Flour tortillas filled with chicken, spinach, black beans, cheese, corn and cilantro. Fried until crispy and served with fresh avocado ranch.) Master had them for the first time this last weekend and he was crazy about them. (recipe: maybe here)

* I am feeling isolated and alone - though I am doing it to myself.

* Need to finish posts on: Being of two minds, 3 book reports, slave vs girlfriend, and I think there is one more but it is escaping at the moment.

Big Love in Colorado.....??

Master is so silly sometimes....but again those moments that make me laugh and smile are the moments I cherish so much.

He asked me the date of Big Love's season finale. I told him (it is June 4th for those that are wondering). And he stood there looking like he was deep in thought. I was in the middle of something so I kept on doing that and finally he said in a very serious tone - "I have to tell you something and I don't want you to get upset." I was very nervous and I said, "okay shoot."

He said, "you and the cats are the 3 sister wives."

"ummm okay....???"

He went on to tell me why I was Barb and our little girl cat is Margene and our male cat (yes male) is Nicki. It was so funny! I tried to keep a serious face as he was doing it so seriously. But then I started to laugh and so did he.

It was quite funny and I am sure you had to be there. LOL
