Nikki Givoanni - Love Poems
I am hooked on Nikki Givoanni lately. She is a poet. I took a class in college that included some of her works and liked her instantly then. I happened upon her the other night again.
Anyway this morning....reading.....I like this part of the Poem "Resignation"
I love you
because you made me
want to love you
more than I love my privacy
my freedom my commitments
and responsibilities
I love you `cause I changed my life
to love you
because you saw me one friday
afternoon and decided that I would
love you
isn't that beautiful.....mmm yummy....
